Lemont-Homer Glen Rotary. Our Story.
Rotary International is one of the largest service organizations in the world. Its stated mission is to "provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders".
The Lemont-Homer Glen Rotary currently has 13 members and meets 2 times/month. We have fundraisers which include our Annual Beer Dinner, Summer Raffle and Super Bowl Squares and have assisted other organizations such as the garden club by donating the garden beds for their garden, supported veterans through SEASPAR, and through the beer dinner donated approximately $10,000 to Shady Oaks to help this camp install automatic doors.
We also support the youth of our community by supporting Early Act and Interact Clubs in our school districts, and by providing Leadership Awards to graduating seniors in our community.

Rotary Club of Lemont-Homer Glen helped fund new planter boxes for Lemont Garden Club. The planter boxes will be used for vegetable gardens, the proceeds of which will go local food pantries. We capped off the donation on March 25 when Rotary members assisted the Garden Club and other volunteers in filling the boxes with planting soil and prepping the area around the boxes with mulch.
This is a win-win-win donation for Lemont Residents. Rotary and Lemont Garden Club combined their efforts to build a sustainable garden to help feed needy families in the community.
